Carey Federspiel is a passionate arts advocate and seasoned real estate professional residing in Larchmont, New York. For over 25 years, she has actively supported the arts in Westchester County, enriching the community through various initiatives and collaborations.
Originally from Kansas, Carey developed a love for music at a young age, playing percussion and bass from grade school through her college years. As a proud member of the Marching Jayhawks and concert bands at KU, she honed her skills and made friends for life. She was an assistant for the high school drumline in Los Alamos, NM where she was an art instructor in the school district.
In Larchmont, Carey continues her musical journey as the bassist for Flint, a local band that contributes to the vibrant cultural scene as well as co-chairing the Larchmont Arts Festival, another performance opportunity for local musicians. Music continues with her family: two of her children are currently pursuing music in college and high school at Mamaroneck High School, and her husband performs with local groups as well. Carey is Co-President of the Association of Music Parents in Mamaroneck Schools.
Carey balances her artistic endeavors with a successful career as an associate broker at Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Real Estate where she serves both seller and buyer clients. Together with her husband Fred, she raises four children, fostering a home environment that values creativity, hard work, and community engagement.
With her unique blend of artistic passion and professional acumen, Carey Federspiel continues to make a significant impact in Westchester, inspiring others and enriching the cultural landscape of her community.
